Submit a XML Feed

If you have a large number of ads which you wish to submit to other websites, Locanto offers an XML feed upload service for adding your content easily onto the site.

If you have more than 1,000 ads, you can send your data to us for free and it will be automatically uploaded onto Locanto as well as be updated regularly. Locanto benefits include features such as no restrictions on the text limit for the description, html formatting and 4 images per ad. Locanto however only accepts feed content for the categories: Vehicles, Property (Real Estate and For Rent), Events and Jobs. Unfortunately, we do not accept any RSS feeds.

Submitting an XML feed requires publishing an XML file for Locanto to use. The XML file must conform with our specifications which vary depending on the category in which you wish to have your content included. Each of the specifications can be downloaded here:

Once you have read the specs and have an XML feed ready for upload, fill out the short form and then click on the “Submit your XML feed” button below. Locanto individually inspects each feed submitted and monitors content for the level of quality, meaning that feeds are not guaranteed to be implemented, and if accepted can take a few weeks before going live.
