Seeking: Construction Project Manager, Akron

Salary Range: $90K to $120K Permanent Position / Benefits Cleveland / Akron, Ohio area Civil Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Senior Level Construction Project Manager who can pursue, plan, and manage projects for our Construction Service Group. The project manager will manage a team of engineers and technicians conducting construction inspections and documenting construction activities. Projects may include construction administration, construction oversight, dispute resolution, documentation and quality control, pre-construction services, and stakeholder communication. This positionwill provide both technical and client management project leadership. This role consists of participating in a growing team and will include opportunities to mentor younger staff. The project manager will manage both public and private sector projects. Responsibilities will include managing, controlling, and monitoring all aspects of the project, reducing risks to both the firm and its clients, and interacting with clients in delivering projects. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in any one of the following: Civil Engineering, Construction Management and/or Construction Engineering Technology. Candidate must have a Professional Engineer's License (P.E.) or be able to acquire certification within 6 to 12 months. Candidate should have direct experience managing multiple types of Civil Construction Projects. Preferred Candidate will have a CE-2 Certification with the Ohio Department of Transportation or is already pre-qualified. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of Engineering Construction experience to include a minimum of 4 years of Engineering Construction Supervisory Experience Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D,Microstation CAD and/or other CAD design software. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communications and documentation. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
