Job Description:

Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with  The JM Smucker Company, is seeking a part-time Retail Store Warehouse Associate to assist in the Smucker Company Store in Orrville, Ohio. This position will begin on a contract basis, but there is temp-to-hire opportunity! Use your warehouse skills to gain experience within this  Fortune 500 organization. Flexible scheduling available!

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist as needed with warehouse duties in the Smucker Retail Store Warehouse – including fulfilling online orders, stocking, dock work, inventory, etc

- Unpack, re-stock, and organize product in both retail store and warehouse

- Amazon and Walmart order fulfilment support: accurately pick and pack product, prepare orders for shipment

- Print shipping labels

- Shrink wrap out-going pallets for FedEx or freight shipments

- Identify and communicate stock discrepancies to managers

- Operate pallet jack

- Use Shipstation order fulfillment software to print orders and mark as completed for shipment

- Ensure corrugated, packaging supplies, and product are ordered from warehouse to support order fulfillment needs

- Assist in the retail store when needed. Greet, welcome, and engage with customers in friendly and helpful manner

Requirements:

- 1 year warehouse or related experience preferred, but not required

- Availability to work two Saturdays per month

- Ability to multi-task and flexible to work in warehouse or retail store as needed or directed

- Ability to lift 30 pounds and climb a ladder and/or stepstool

- Ability to identify necessary tasks and take initiative independent of direct supervision

- Excellent customer service skills with out-going, personable, and professional demeanor

Pay Rate: $15/hour

Education: High school diploma is NOT required

Schedule:  This position is part-time and will work 3 full days per week (total of 24 hours per week). Scheduled hours are 9am-5:30pm. Must be available to work 2 Saturdays per month. The retail store is open 9am-5:30pm Monday-Saturday, closed on Sunday.
