Substitute Secretary
Positions are available for the Mansfield City School District.
Secretary requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to: possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; type correspondence and reports as designated by the building principal; responsible for the receptionist duties related to school visitors; responsible for telephone and/or electronic messages received at the building site; accurately file relevant materials in student cumulative folders or teacher files or building files, as appropriate and necessary; responsible for the operation and monitoring of various types of office equipment; assist in establishing appointments and/or conferences for the principal or staff with parents or other personnel; maintain a log of visitors to the school; assist in the care of children who become ill at school or who are in need of first aid; maintain a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude toward students, parents, and staff.
All substitutes are required to complete fingerprint testing through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as other pre-employment screenings.
All screenings are at the potential employee's expense.
