Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician based in Akron, Ohio.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to ensure optimal operations of industrial machinery.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety protocols, keeping maintenance logs, and collaborating with the shop to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance
Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance practices
Skills in Maintenance & Repair of machinery and mechanical systems
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Willingness to work on-site and handle physical tasks
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred
