TIG Welder - Dallas
Our client is a division of a global leader in industrial food processing, providing a portfolio of global brands with complementary, industry-leading technologies for food production.
Currently, they have a great opportunity for a talented and motivated TIG Welder to join their team in the Dallas, Texas area!
Welders are responsible for fitting and welding steel, aluminum and stainless steel parts using a MIG and/or TIG process and also to ensure each job is run with safety, accuracy and within timeliness in the welding area
What Will You Do?
Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification
Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
Weld components/materials based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor
Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
Follow all safety rules and quality standards
Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
Prepare product for shipment
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
2-5 years TIG welding experience.
Proficient with various gauges and measuring devices
Ability to read and interpret prints
Strong understanding of dimensions and tolerances
Strong understanding of material properties
Attentive to all safety precautions when operating machines.
