Rooms Inspector (Temp Part-Time), Massachusetts

Responsibilities:
Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms meet the high Canyon Ranch standards of cleanliness. 

 

Staff Supervision: Inspects all rooms to ensure they meet Canyon Ranch’s high standards of cleanliness. Trains and coaches Room Attendants. Supervises Room Attendants to ensure maximum productivity and quality standards. Offers feedback for performance appraisals and counseling. Notifies the Front Desk immediately of available rooms via the phone, computer system or radio. Reports and follows up on all maintenance issues immediately via phone or written request. Operations: Cleans rooms as needed. Changes shower curtains, comforters, ironing board covers and lamp shades as needed. Assigns and distributes daily room cleaning assignments to Room Attendants as needed. Communication: Daily checks voice mail and e-mail and responds to messages in a timely manner as needed. Tracks guest’s special requests and ensures follow-through.

Qualifications:
Role Status: Seasonal/temporary part-time position 

Schedule: Must be available for weekends- Thursday-Sunday between 7:30am to 5:30pm. 

 

 

What you will bring: 

3-5 years previous experience in same or related field

Excellent organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills

Ability to work independently in a timely and productive manner 

Must be physically able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and interruptions while remaining positive and focused 

Ability to interact with a variety of people

High attention to detail and accuracy with all work
