ITE offers an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) with company match, short and long-term disability, life insurance, college savings plan, commuter benefits, and educational assistance.Summary: We are seeking experienced Senior Construction Inspectors to support vital NYSDOT infrastructure projects across New York State counties, including Albany, Essex, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, and Washington. Construction inspection work includes asphalt paving and bridge rehabilitation, electrical and traffic signal installations.Responsibilities: Inspect HMA/asphalt paving, milling, compaction, density, core sampling, and pavement marking construction. Conduct inspections during night paving operations, meeting NETTCP and NICET Asphalt certification requirements. Oversee electrical construction, including traffic signal head and controller installation, loop detection, signal timing, and cabinet assembly.Inspect pole, mast arm, and foundation installations, as well as conduit, pull boxes, fiber, and copper cable deployments. Lead bridge rehabilitation inspections, covering deck and joint repairs, concrete patching, rebar verification, structural steel, and painting. Ensure compliance with NYSDOT WZTC, M&PT and MUTCD standards. Document inspection findings, prepare timely reports, SiteManager Maintain accurate records and verify adherence to NYSDOT regulations. Requirements: Valid NICET Level II or III certification in Construction Inspection, Asphalt (or equivalent proven experience). 2 years experience in HMA/asphalt inspection, compaction, density testing, and pavement marking compliance.2 years experience in traffic signal installation, signal timing, and electrical infrastructure inspection.
