Software Engineer (Java Developer) – Mid-Senior Level – Fully Cleared with Polygraph Required

Base pay range
$200,******/yr – $235,******/yr

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen
Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (CI or FS)
At least fourteen (14) years of direct/relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, etc.) or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
Five (05) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Must have demonstrated in-depth experience with Java
Must have experience or familiarity with multiple Java frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA, EJB, JTA, Servlet, Jackson, Jersey, Swing, JavaFX)
Must have experience or familiarity with multiple of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, C/C++, Groovy, SQL
Must have experience with development IDEs such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Rhapsody, WebStorm
Must have experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server
Must have experience with Web Application UI development, knowledge of databases and structures, Spring Framework, or experience with AngularJS, JSON, HTML, XML, XSLT
Must have experience with software source control and configuration management tools
Must have experience with technologies underlying cryptographic systems (symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, ASN.1 encoding, XML canonicalization, digital signatures)
Must have experience developing on Windows and/or Linux operating systems
Must have documented professional experience with web services
Must have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practices
Must be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be an independent thinker capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have Qualifications
Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), SQL, application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss), Spring, scripting
Experience or familiarity with XML/XSD/SOAP/WSDL/XSLT, REST, JSON, YAML, Containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Experience with JavaScript frameworks: AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery
Experience with Testing and Mocking frameworks: JUnit, Jupiter, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, Unified Functional Tester, Selenium, FITNesse
Experience with build tools: Maven, CMake, RPM, Jenkins, Nexus
Experience with high level requirements management including requirements decomposition, secure systems engineering and development, trade-off analysis, interface control, testing and continuous integration
Experience in software development on Agile teams (Pair Programming, TDD, Refactoring, ATDD)
Experience with BDD
Secure Software development (Layer 7 Policy)
Experience with Scrum, SAFe methodology, SAFe Agile certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team
