Below are the various programs that offer internships at Diakon:

Affordable Housing:

Work with adults living in one of our affordable housing buildings coordinating activities, onsite support, companionship and more. Behavioral Health Services:

Hands-on experience in areas such as outpatient counseling, case management, and school-based services. Community Services:

Work with seniors in the community through various programs geared towards aging in place, remaining active, and staying connected. Family Preservation:

Observe home-based programs working with children and families to prevent out-of-home placement of children. Ministry Support/Corporate Offices:

Office-setting opportunities in Finance, Human Resources, Advancement/Grants, Corporate Communications, Accounts Payable, Marketing, and more. Permanency Services:

Experience opportunities with case managers involved in foster care and adoption services. Youth Services:

Work with at-risk youth through community-based treatment, vocational training, counseling and mentorship.
