shift Hours would be M-F depending on business needs but day shift could start as early as 6am-9am work 8 hours with 30 mins lunch latest shift will be 6pm end time. OT as needed Person must have 5+ years sit down and stand up forklift experience.
Primary responsibilities• Operate machinery: Safely and efficiently operate various types of powered industrial trucks (forklifts, order pickers, etc.) • Load and unload: Load and unload trailers and trucks, with raw materials, finished goods, or waste products. • Selecting and put away: Select orders and put awayinbound materials.• Packing/unpacking: At times, will be asked to pack orders and prep orders for shipment. Also, will be required to be able to unpack inbound material to be put away into inventory. • Inspect equipment: Perform and document daily pre-operation inspections and report any maintenance issues to ensure equipment is in safe working order.• Maintain the work area: Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe by tidying up materials, and removing waste or other debris. • Stock management: Move, stack, and stage products, materials, or cases in designated locations, including high racking systems. • Documentation: Use handheld scanners to accurately track and record the movement of products, or maintain manual logs and records.• Safety and compliance: Follow all safety rules and procedures, and comply with company policies, and operational guidelines. • Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned. • Exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule Critical Skills: Ability to read, hear, speak, and understand English language. Both written and oral communication required. Ability to operate RF scanner, pallet jack, selecting carts, packing equipment (tape machines, etc.), and various cutting instruments. Ability to operate PC’s and printers. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, theemployee is occasionally required to sit, stand, walk, reach above the shoulder, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time and be able to stay on your feet for eight hours. The employee must be able to talk, hear, taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or moveup to 50 pounds unassisted. Employee may be required to move more than 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly uses phones, computers, computer monitors and all office equipment.
