Construction Site Engineer, Pennsylvania

Seeking a Civil Engineer to serve as a Resident Project Representative (RPS) providing on-site field observation and support during the construction phase of public infrastructure and utility projects.

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Essential Functions

Observe construction activities to verify compliance with project specifications

Track quantities and progress for contractor payments

Maintain detailed field records and daily reports

Coordinate between engineering staff, clients, and contractors

Support construction-phase services for projects such as:

Municipal paving and roadwork

Sanitary and storm sewer systems

Wastewater and water distribution facilities

Site grading and general infrastructure

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Associate degree with relevant experience will be considered)

Practical experience or internship in construction observation or civil projects preferred

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work in the field and travel to active job sites
