Environmental Services Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) - Full Time

In this role you will be: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of EVS staff, including scheduling, task assignments, and performance monitoring. Ensure all patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. Enforce infection control policies and procedures, including proper cleaning and disinfection practices.Conduct routine inspections and quality assurance audits of assigned areas. Train, mentor, and evaluate EVS staff; provide coaching and corrective action when needed. Collaborate with nursing, infection prevention, and other departments to support patient care goals. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order and maintain adequate stock levels.Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of EVS equipment and chemicals. Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs, spills, or infection control concerns. Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies (e.g., OSHA, CDC, Joint Commission).
