POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Maintenance Supervisor your roles and responsibilities will include:

Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians to organize, plan and monitor the repair, replacement, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of foundry and machining related equipment.

Organize and support maintenance department, in the maintenance and repairs of various types of production equipment, facility maintenance, critical spares, upgrades and projects including managing outside contractors, and quoting.

Maintain and manage preventative maintenance plans for equipment and facilities activities.

Manage Capital and expense projects for equipment upgrades and improvements.

Plan and direct scheduled or unplanned maintenance activities and establish maintenance priorities in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.

Review and analyze maintenance metrics and operational reports to determine causes of equipment failure and reliability.

Establish and maintain staffing and required training/development to ensure support of the operations.

Ensure compliance and maintain local plant policies and practice requirements to all mandatory environmental and safety regulations.

Actively participate in lean/5S/continuous improvement activities related to the facility as needed.

Work cross functionally to support customers and assure equipment uptime.

QUALIFICATIONS

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Maintenance Supervisor who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Maintenance Supervisor would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.

Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience.

Prior maintenance and leading maintenance technicians experience

Experience is maintenance reliability programs (vibration, ultrasonic, IR, lubrication)

Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Preventative Maintenance Development (PMD) experience

Ability to track maintenance metrics (downtime, MTTR, MTBR)
