Job Summary: Accounting manager for a small E&P company in Amarillo, TX. Responsibilities: -Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management -Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes -Perform monthly account reconciliations. -Preparation of financial statements-Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions -Manage oil&gas accounting activities, including: Revenue accounting Joint interest billing (JIB) Production accounting support Working interest and royalty owner accounting AFE tracking and capital expenditure reporting -Support management with financial analysis and operational reporting -Supervise and mentor accounting staff, as applicable-Preparation of various statements in Microsoft Excel
