Remote Anywhere in California. A full-service law firm with extensive litigation expertise is seeking an associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its growing team. The firm handles a broad range of matters, including ERISA, disability, life, health, long-term care, fraud, and employer-sponsored benefit disputes. The ideal candidate will have: Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills A strong work ethic with a proactive, team-oriented mindsetAdmission to the State Bar of California Key responsibilities include: Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other litigation documents Collaborating with in-house clients, experts, third-party administrators, opposing counsel, and witnesses Reviewing, investigating, and evaluating the factual and legal aspects of claimsTaking and defending depositions Assisting with trial and arbitration preparation, including motions in limine, jury instructions, trial briefs, exhibits, and witness preparation Compensation for this role ranges from $158,000 to $190,000, plus annual performance-based bonuses. Final salary will depend on the candidate’s experience and years of practice. The firm offers a hybrid work arrangement, a reasonable billable hours requirement, discretionary and billable-hour bonuses, competitive health benefits, and a 401(k) plan with partial employer match.
