Come and join the Administrative Services team within the Section of Epidemiology. Your role will be to deliver vital administrative support and operational coordination that keeps public health services running smoothly statewide. While working with our experienced team, you will coordinate critical services, schedule meetings, track resources, invoice submissions, and reconciliation, and help facilitate daily activities as the main administrative resource for the HIV STD Program within the Central Services unit.The mission of the Division of Public Health is to protect and promote the health of Alaskans. The Section of Epidemiology works to safeguard communities from communicable diseases, injuries, and environmental, occupational, and other public health hazards through statewide prevention, surveillance, and response efforts.This position provides administrative and operational support within the Central Services Unit and assists the HIV/STD Program. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and logistics, processing and reconciling invoices, tracking resources, maintaining records, and supporting daily administrative operations. The HIV/STD Program works to prevent sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in Alaska through statewide prevention, education, surveillance, and control efforts guided by public health data and best practices.The benefits of joining our team: You will find opportunities for advancement within both our division and the Department of Health in general.
