TITLE: System Architect
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI – 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
DURATION: 6+ Months with possible extension
Rate: $80-$85/hr on W2
Job Description:
We're looking for candidates with strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks and proficiency in designing complex systems. The ideal candidate is self-driven, has excellent problem-solving abilities, and exemplifies leadership qualities.
Technical Skills & Tools:
Programming Languages: Python, C++
Architectural Frameworks: TOGAF, Attribute-Driven Design
System Modeling Tools: CATIA, Lucid
As a System Architect, you'll:
Align system architectures with business goals and requirements.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
Apply systems engineering principles and methodologies to analyze and solve system design challenges.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs and architectures.
Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve architecture-related issues during the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
9+ years of proven experience as a system architect, systems engineer, or similar role
Strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks
Working knowledge in the following:
Python, C++, architectural framework TOGAF, attribute-driven development, modeling tools, CATIA, and Lucid
Proficiency in designing complex systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and security
Experience with systems integration and interoperability practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Familiarity with interfaces such as REST, DDS, gRPC etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years as a system architect/engineer, preferably in the automotive industry
In-depth knowledge of software stacks in the automotive domain
Understanding of typical E/E architecture and familiarity with standard vehicle architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud platforms
