Verdantas is seeking a Seasonal Concrete Testing Technician in Plymouth, MI, to support field inspections, quality control testing, and environmental sampling for construction projects. Join a mission-driven team where your hands-on work directly supports sustainable infrastructure and environmental stewardship across Michigan. ?

What You'll Do:

Conduct quality control tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil density, and asphalt density directly on active construction sites.

Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety and accuracy in all field activities.

Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and professional certifications required to perform job duties to industry and regulatory standards.

What You Need:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in the civil engineering field is preferred

Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable

Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload

Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally

ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are preferred and/or must be obtained

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. periodically

Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance
