We are looking for an energetic, self-starter to join our growing team as a Warehouse Material Handler/Parts Runner! This entry-level position is a great introduction to the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry and offers multiple career paths, including office staff or a fully paid five-year apprenticeship with a local union.Summary of Role: Material handler/parts runner routinely work with project managers, technicians and office staff to successfully execute commercial and residential HVAC projects. This role is responsible for receiving and unloading daily delivery shipments, organizing job materials in our warehouse, and providing materials and equipment deliveries to and from job sites.Perks and Benefits:· Assistance getting into a fully paid five-year apprenticeship through Sheet Metal Local 80 or Local 190 for plumbers, pipefitters, service technicians and gas distribution workers· 401(k) with company match· Overtime paid after 40 hours a week· Paid time off (PTO) for full- time hires– can earn up to three weeks· Paid sick days· Paid parental leave· Medical benefits· Flexible spending account Job Duties: Unload deliveries, sort and put away in their respective locations Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, liftgates and other machinery Load materials for delivery to job sites Deliver materials and equipment to job sites Pick materials and supplies up directly from vendors, handle necessary paperwork involvedOrganize and clean warehouse Assist on crane and helicopter lifts as needed Clean up job sites as needed Other projects as needed Job requirements: Must have the ability to perform heavy lifting Positive attitude and willingness to learn Monday– Friday, 7 a.m.– 4 p.m., with the occasional variation in start/end time Flexible schedule available for part-time hires Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Clean driving record Experience hauling trailers a plus Basic knowledge of HVAC or mechanical systems a plus Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hourSchedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
