Description
Job Title: Assembly Associate Job Description We are seeking motivated assembly associates to join our team in crafting machines that distribute and spray liquid adhesives across various industries, including automotive, agriculture, and food and beverage. These machines are essential for tasks such as sealing battery pans in cars, lining the inside of soup cans, and insulating exercise equipment. Responsibilities Assemble dispensing equipment with precision. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams accurately. Operate and maintain equipment efficiently. Utilize hand and measuring tools, gauges, test equipment, power lift equipment, and potentially operate tow motors. Prepare, label, move, and track parts effectively. Inspect products and report on quality standards. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping procedures. Ensure compliance with production and administrative procedures. Enhance existing processes for improved efficiency. Communicate effectively with team leaders and collaborate well in a team environment. Essential Skills Proficiency with wrenches and other hand tools. Basic computer skills. 3-5 years of assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Ability to read and work from blueprints and work instructions. Additional Skills&Qualifications Experience working with valves or wiring is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a large, well-lit, and clean facility. The environment is climate-controlled and organized, with sub-assemblies in the middle and warehouse operations at the back. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays required. Expect to work an average of 40 hours per week. Job Type&Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wixom, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
