Extended Day Site Supervisor

Extended Day Program District Wide Qualifications: High school graduate. Minimum of 60 hours of college course work, including 12 hours in a child related field. Previous experience working with school-age children. Demonstrate aptitude and/or competence working with school age children. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary staff member responsible for planning and implementing a program which provides for physical activities, self-expression through arts, crafts and play, and socialization with peers. Work cooperatively with site team, Program Coordinator, building principal and building staff to share space cooperatively. Maintain program equipment and supplies and maintain an up-to-date inventory list. Develop effective communication with the parents of children enrolled in the program. Works with School Resource Personnel as needed. Provide a safe, nurturing, child-oriented environment and meet Environmental Health guidelines regarding cleanliness. Assist Program Coordinator in ensuring site meets DHS licensing regulations. Complete all appropriate paperwork including but not limited to lesson plans, purchase order requisitions, attendance records, accident reports, and contact logs. Work on all half days that care is provided. Other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.Beginning Date: August 25, 2025 Reports To: Extended Day Program Coordinator Rate of Pay: $18.09 - $20.54 Pay based on education and experience Hours: 28.75 hours per week Monday-Friday– 7:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.&3:30 p.m.– 6:00 p.m. Applicant must be able to work all 10 shifts 5 hours of planning per week Method of Application: Internal Applicants – Apply online using the Internal Applicants section. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and talk or hear and sometimes walk and sit. Occasionally the employee will bend or twist at the neck more than the average person. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 50 lbs such as boxes of books. The employee is directly responsible for the safety, well-being, or work output of other people. The fingerprinting is conducted by a third party and is at the expense of the applicant. The cost for fingerprinting is approximately $70.00.
