Warehouse Manager (Part-time, 1st Shift) Plymouth, Michigan

The Affinity Group is seeking a dependable and detail orientated part-time Warehouse Manager to process shipping and receiving requests, maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the stored inventory, and assist our Sales and Culinary staff in occasional kitchen prep and cleanup. This role is based out of our Plymouth, Michigan office location and will work cross functionally to support the needs of our internal sales teams and external clients.Affinity Group is one of the fastest-growing food sales and marketing agencies, with a national presence throughout North America. Affinity Group brings decades of expertise and a consultative system that is tailored for a localized approach.A typical week you will be responsible, but not limited, to the following duties: Daily loading and unloading of food products, freight, and POS materials Keeping coolers and freezers clean and organized Assist with food show preparation, set-up and breakdown Assist sales teams with preparing samples for sales presentationsSchedule large deliveries and place orders as needed Daily, light facilities cleaning in warehouse, kitchen and sales areas - sweeping, mopping floors, garbage removal, sorting and tidying inventory Maintain Linens Order labels and inventory supplies Perform other general housekeeping duties as assigned specific to warehouse, sales training areas, and test kitchenCommunicate effectively with the team and clients Requirements: Experience in a warehouse role with knowledge of proper safety protocol a plus Reliable transportation required, along with a safe driving record and valid driver license Must have good organization and communication skills and be teamwork orientedAbility to work in refrigerated/freezer temperatures periodically throughout the day Must be able to receive and lift packages up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis Must be able to work Monday through Friday Microsoft Office experience a plus Food Show experience a plus What to expect: 401(k) Retirement plan with employer match40 hours of PTO will be provided.
