Network Architect, Brentwood

Position Overview
Customer is seeking an experienced
Network Architect
to support a key customer engagement.
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments.
The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot LAN and WAN service issues across Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms
Configure switching platforms including Cisco ***********, ****, Nexus, and FortiSwitch
Configure routing platforms including Cisco ASR/ISR, FortiGate, and Meraki
Install and deploy network hardware
Activate and manage leased WAN circuits
Participate in daily stand-ups and project meetings
Create and maintain network documentation
Develop and review change scripts
Collaborate with security teams to mitigate active threats
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training
Active CCIE certification (or scheduled exam required)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Information Systems (healthcare industry preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of true network architecture experience
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Cisco networking experience
Minimum 3+ years of SD-WAN experience
Technical Skills
Strong experience with LAN technologies:
STP, EtherChannel/Port Channel

*****X, DHCP, DACLs
WAN technologies:
VRFs, routing protocols, IP ACLs
Leased circuits
AAA and TACACS+ troubleshooting
IP addressing and network design
Wireless troubleshooting *******)
SNMP monitoring and logging configuration
