Responsibilities:
When your actions lead to success:
Leads projects by gathering information from hourly employees, creating tangible goals and deadlines, and reporting improvements to all employees.
Spends time on the floor talking with operators, completing time studies, verifying/validating SOPs, etc.
Aligns with Department Managers on priority of projects and provides updates.
Audits quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping procedures.
Maintains training materials and data as needed.
Other tasks as assigned.
Upholds all ethical standards associated with safety, quality, and food safety policies and procedures within the facility, including the TC Transcontinental Code of Conduct and Values.
Complies with all the standards that are followed in the TC Menasha plant, including, but not limited to: Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), Continuous Improvement (CI), and any other processes established within the TC Menasha plant.
Responsible for reporting all safety, quality, and food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Follows procedures for proper handling, labeling, storage, and use of various types of products within the plant or on company property.
Attend and actively participate as deemed necessary.
Oversee production training and ensure proper documentation is completed.
Participate in customer, supplier, or vendor visits as requested.
Attend all required training as deemed necessary.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or Associates Degree with relevant experience
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Flexo printing, extrusion lamination and/or converting equipment a plus
Possess communication skills and be familiar with computer concepts
Different means of communicating and training
Ability to exemplify professional behavior in all aspects of the position
Tactful, mature, and has the ability to get along with diverse personalities
Communicates effectively one-on-one and in small groups
Easily articulates ideas and needs, so people at all levels can understand
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of the company’s quality and food safety systems, as well as contractual quality requirements
Ability to accurately measure using steel rulers, a measuring tape or other required measurement tools
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions and decimals
Detail oriented
Computer literate with a strong knowledge of software such as Microsoft Office
Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a phone, fax, copier, and printers
Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
Highly organized and self-directed with an ability to prioritize projects, combined with the ability to provide and receive direction
Analytical and critical thinking skills with an aptitude to quickly absorb new procedures and new industry advancements
Ability to read and follow written instructions and accurately report test results
Ability to properly and safely handle and use equipment and chemicals
Flexibility to work overtime and change shift hours
