Position: Lead Cook
Location: Oshkosh, WI | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.

Kitchen Supervision: Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.

Food Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.

Resident Interaction: Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate residents' dietary needs and preferences.

Training & Development: Train and mentor kitchen team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cooking or kitchen management role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.

ServSafe or equivalent Food Handler’s Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Strong knowledge of food safety, handling, and sanitation procedures.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
