Description

Redgranite is seeking a full time Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

The primary role of this position is to create an engaging learning environment

and provide a quality learning experience where students can build their capacity academically

and through employability skills. Building strong, positive relationships with all students on a

daily basis is not only an expectation, but a core value of our district. The teacher role sets and

communicates high and attainable expectations for all students regardless of ability or skill. With

the value of knowing students can learn at high levels, the teacher role facilitates learning, stays

current on better practices, and implements target based grading and teaching/learning strategies

within the classroom. The teacher uses formative assessments to inform classroom instruction

and adjusts based on student needs. The teacher is a leader who models continuous improvement,

lifelong learning, and strives to go above and beyond to promote student growth and

achievement.

Teachers agree to serve the Wautoma Area School District for the number of days in the official

school calendar and to perform duties as assigned by school and district administration. The

teacher role is a certified position, in which time out of the instructional day may need to be

given for curriculum-development, professional learning, and support school/district activities.
