Until Filled (PST) W3718 South Drive, Plymouth, WI, United States Part Time POSITION PURPOSE To assist the Head Coach, primarily with recruiting, organizing and running practices, fundraising, promotional activities, and other related assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities also include: Monitoring and assisting student-athletes with academic successEffectively recruiting quality student-athletes Perform sport specific skills in practice and utilize sport-specific technology. Ability to assist in field maintenance&improvement. Assisting the head coach with any/all aspects of the program. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.QUALIFICATIONS· Bachelor's degree and acceptance into the Lakeland University graduate school program are required. · Experience in the sport of softball is required. · Must have an acceptable driving record. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,&ABILITIES· Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations governing recruitment, eligibility and related functions is required · Demonstrate ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality; · Ability to effectively manage time and priorities; · Ability to prioritize office workflow and makeeffective administrative decisions to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity;· Demonstrated ability to tactfully and effectively communicate (written and verbal) with a variety of individuals; · Strong critical thinking skills; · Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) or similar products; · Demonstrates organizational ability, and attention to detail and accuracy;· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment ; · Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT · Moderate to strenuous physical activity is part of the position.
