D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Contracts Attorney for their Legal Department.  The right candidate will review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, collaborate with various departments, provide advice on contract matters, and help streamline the contracting process.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing contracts including professional services agreements, contractor agreements, purchase agreements, and other legal documents

Negotiating contract terms with vendors and other parties

Providing legal advice to the company on contract interpretation and obligations

Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks within contractual agreements

Maintaining organized records of contracts and related documents

Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary information for contract negotiation and development

Updating contractual policies and procedures as needed to align with current laws

Conducting legal research to support contract negotiations and development

      

 

Qualifications

 Education and/or Experience    

Juris Doctorate degree (J. D.).

Active Bar license.
