C.W. Wright is currently recruiting for an Experienced Equipment Operators to join our busy Central Transmission, Underground Distribution, and Substation divisions.
Requirements
Capable of operating various types of heavy equipment:
Bucket, derrick, and boom trucks
Backhoes, excavators, and skid steer loaders
Articulating Man-lifts
Pressure Diggers
Trenchers
Track Crawler Loader/Backhoe
Rough Terrain Telescopic Forklifts
Read and interpret profile, blueprints, maps, or other written instructions for completion of assigned tasks.
Does all other related work as required to complete the job.
Responsible for maintaining company vehicles in good working condition.
Physical Standards
Required physical abilities to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger dexterity, grasp, and repetitive motions.
Must be able to routinely lift objects under 10 pounds; occasionally lift objects from ***** pounds, infrequently lift objects from ***** pounds and infrequently lift objects over 50 pounds.
Environmental Conditions
Work is performed outside and includes being exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, inclement weather, noise, mechanical hazards, electrical hazards, darkness, and occasional poor lighting conditions.
Qualifications
1 year of relevant experience and a clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience operating a variety of equipment.
Resumes and/or detailed applications are required for all hires; including references that can provide verification of experience level.
Must qualify for and/or possess a Commercial Driver's License.
