This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment " no prior ophthalmology experience required.In this role, you'll work closely with patients throughout their visit, assist with diagnostic testing, prepare patients for exams, and support providers during treatments and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Collect patient medical histories and accurately enter information into electronic medical recordsPerform preliminary vision screenings and assist with patient intake processesCapture diagnostic imaging and prepare exam rooms for patient appointmentsSupport physicians during in-office procedures and treatmentsProvide a welcoming, supportive experience for patients during their visitTravel to satellite clinic locations as needed during the workday with paid travel time providedMaintain accurate documentation and follow clinic protocols and proceduresAssist with maintaining clean, organized clinical workspacesQualifications:Previous Medical Assistant backgroundExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused mindsetComfortable learning new systems, medical terminology, and clinical proceduresBasic computer proficiency and ability to navigate electronic systemsReliable transportation and a valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record requiredBilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to applyDependable, professional, and able to thrive in a team-oriented environmentAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
