Full-Time Residential Designer

to support our growing lineup of custom and spec home projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a steady production environment where accuracy and consistency matter. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational drafting skills who wants long-term stability and a clear workflow. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH VOLUME BUILDER IN NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION.Responsibilities Create complete residential construction drawings in

AutoCAD

(floor plans, elevations, roof plans, electrical layouts, etc.). Produce clean, accurate plan sets that meet local codes and permit requirements. Incorporate revisions and redlines with good communication and attention to detail. Prepare site plans and lot-specific adjustments when needed. Support development of new plans and community model home designs.Maintain organized project files and follow established drafting standards. Required Skills Strong proficiency in

AutoCAD

for residential drafting. Solid understanding of residential construction methods and terminology. Ability to produce permit-ready plans that meet DFW city/county requirements. Good communication, organization, and follow-through. Comfortable working within a consistent production workflow. Preferred (Not Required)Experience with

Revit . Rendering or 3D modeling exposure. Previous experience designing for homebuilders or residential design firms. Familiarity with common architectural styles in the DFW market.
