Arlington, WA (Vashon Aircraft) Reports to:
Shop Supervisor Build Something That Doesn’t Sit Still

Our airplanes take off. We’re looking for a hands-on Aircraft Assembly Mechanic to join our team building the Vashon Ranger—a fun, modern, two-seat aircraft designed to get people into the sky. fly , you might be exactly who we’re looking for. What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a collaborative production team bringing aircraft to life, including: Fabricating and installing sheet metal components (wing, tail, fuselage, control surfaces) Performing riveting and precision assembly work Assembling key aircraft systems including:
Fuel systems Flight control systems Landing gear Doors and seating components
Reading and following detailed assembly instructions and blueprints Using a wide range of hand tools and shop equipment Performing aircraft bodywork and small parts finishing Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace What You Bring
1–2 years of sheet metal or aircraft assembly experience preferred Riveting experience strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Hands-on mechanical experience is highly valued—if you’ve spent time working on cars, motorcycles, or similar projects, many of those skills translate well to this role Ability to read and follow technical instructions accurately Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Solid communication skills in English A willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environmentHigh energy, reliability, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks Must be 18+ with reliable transportation Why Vashon Aircraft?
