We are seeking a motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team!
The ideal candidate has a strong background in apartment leasing, excels in customer service and sales, and is passionate about helping prospective residents find their next home.
This role plays a key part in driving occupancy, resident satisfaction, and overall community success.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing & Sales:
Greet and tour prospective residents, showcasing the community and available units
Effectively communicate pricing, availability, and community features
Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, and outreach to convert leads into leases
Meet and exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets
Customer Service & Resident Relations:
Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
Assist with resident inquiries, concerns, and lease-related questions
Build strong relationships to support resident retention and renewals
Administrative Duties:
Process applications, lease agreements, and renewals accurately
Maintain organized and up-to-date resident files
Enter traffic, leases, and follow-ups into property management systems
Assist with reporting and daily office operations
Marketing & Outreach:
Maintain knowledge of current market trends and competitor communities
Assist with marketing efforts, resident events, and outreach initiatives
Ensure model units and tour paths are clean, organized, and show-ready
Qualifications:
Previous apartment leasing experience required
Strong sales and closing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Onesite, etc.) preferred
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual is a plus
Experience with resident retention and renewals
Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and Software
