MedQuest Associates is looking for a Front Desk Coordinator
Note: PRN indicates that the position is “as needed” or “on-call.” This means the employee will not have a regular, fixed schedule but will be called in to work based on the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and Welcoming: Ensure all patients and their families feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
Patient Assistance: Anticipate and attend to the needs of our patients, providing exceptional customer service.
Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-ins, answer and route telephone calls, schedule appointments, and handle front office tasks efficiently.
Financial Transactions: Collect patient balances at the time of service, ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Prior Experience:
0 - 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare, customer support or hospitality field
Special Qualifications:
Strong customer service background and focus
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge and ability to perform accurately and efficiently on computer
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience working in a physician practice or other type of medical services office
Knowledge of medical terminology
Prior patient collections experience in a medical setting
Medical records experience
Bachelor’s Degree
