Our team includes one experienced orthopedic surgeon, with two more joining us this fall, along with a skilled nurse practitioner and physician assistant. We value teamwork, innovation, and a shared commitment to helping our patients move better and live well.A Medical Office Receptionist who excels in this role: Greets patients and visitors while providing professional and compassionate customer service. Answers, directs, and manages incoming phone calls and messages from patients, providers, and staff. Completes all aspects of the patient check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.Enters and updates patient demographic and insurance information and collects copays or outstanding balances. Schedules appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits while coordinating required records and documentation. Monitors front office tasks, maintains organized patient records, and supports daily administrative operations.Maintains a clean, organized front office environment and supports overall clinic operations through teamwork and compliance with office policies. What we're looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred. Previous medical front office or healthcare administrative experience preferred.Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and medical office procedures preferred. Experience using EMR/EHR systems and general computer proficiency. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multitask, think critically, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: Full Time, Days.
