Maintenance Technician, Georgia

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to take responsibility for equipment safety, machine uptime, and overall facility upkeep. This hands-on role is essential in supporting and improving process reliability through preventive and corrective maintenance efforts.
 
Shift: 3rd shift - 12 – hour shift with additional overtime as required.
 
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

Visually inspect and test machinery for operational safety and effectiveness.

Partner with production staff to resolve non-routine equipment issues.

Support engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate records within a computerized maintenance management system.

Ensure compliance with facility and ISO standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Associate’s degree or relevant technical certifications preferred.

2–5 years’ experience in plant/building maintenance or equipment manufacturing.

Proficiency with mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs., stand for extended periods, and navigate around machinery.

Ability to wear required PPE including respirator and safety glasses.

Exposure to noise, heat, and airborne particles; must be comfortable in an industrial environment.

12-hour shift with overtime as needed.
