JOB PURPOSE:
Stress Engineer to perform finite element analysis through computer simulations and classical hand calculations for aircraft interior modifications.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledge of FEMAP.
Ability to perform hand calculations.
Knowledge of aircraft modifications per FAA regulations.
Experience working with STCs and the STC process.
Maintenance, repair, and overhaul ( MRO) experience.
Able to coordinate with design.
