Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lean Engineer. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to apply foundational knowledge of Lean principles, process improvement, data analysis in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and overall performance. This is an excellent opportunity to develop practical experience while contributing to meaningful organizational improvements. Primary Duties: Continuous Improvement Support Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals and Lean principles Support data collection and analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement Participate in Lean and Six Sigma projects (e.g., 5S, Kaizen events, process mapping) Collaborate with team members to establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Help document processes, standard work, and improvement activities Project&Process Support Assist in planning and executing improvement projects from start to finish Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements Support change management efforts by helping communicate updates and gather feedback Contribute to benchmarking and best practice research Quality&Collaboration Work with quality teams to support product and process quality improvements Assist in monitoring and reporting on improvement metrics Collaborate with departments to identify cross-functional improvement opportunities Additional Responsibilities Support supervisors and team leads as needed Assist with training materials and documentation updates Perform other duties as assigned Primary Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated with a proactive mindset Culture: Promote a positive and respectful work environment Communicate clearly and professionally with team members Be open to feedback and continuous learning Uphold company values of Integrity, Trust, Creativity, Courage, Teamwork, and Excellence Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (required) Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in manufacturing or process improvement (preferred) Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma concepts Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, orsimilar) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Willingness to learn and grow within the role Ability to travel occasionally if needed Physical Requirements: Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment Ability to usestandard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.) Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs Attendance Requirements: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory. Salary Range: $26.50-$29.00/hour, depending upon experience Sign-on Bonus!
