Position Summary

Temporary research assistant will be tasked to do: Autoclave biohazard waste, prepare microbiological media, perform PCR, maintain laboratory inventory and assist students in their research.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position

BS in Microbiology and at least 6 months experience working in a microbiology laboratory

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Experience in general laboratory tasks Media preparation Autoclaving
