Job Summary A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on facilities and all necessary equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety standards.

Summary of Essential Job Functions Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. in restrooms and breakrooms Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, as well as HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly.Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on broken or malfunctioning equipment, including electrical appliances, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC units. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and health regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipmentAddress emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime and ensure the safety of the facility. Perform Regular maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, unclogging drains, fixing leaks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of facilities. Conduct routine inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs.Respond to urgent maintenance calls and address unexpected breakdowns or damages in the building. Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies needed for routine maintenance tasks. Daily empty trash cans into disposal areas Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt Monitor lighting fixtures and replace bulbs, as requiredComplete purchase requests for replenishment of supplies Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to performance of tasks, use of products or supplies and incident reporting Minimum Requirements Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with hands-on experience in maintenance and repair tasks.Good planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance the fulfillment of requirements Ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions. Good decision-making skills Meticulous in performing maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Highly motivated, results oriented, drivenGood verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and report on maintenance activities. Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, push/pull objects, and lift/move objects. At least 6 months to 1-year electrical experience At least 6 months to 1 year HVAC experienceAt least 6 months to 1 year plumbing experience
