About the position::
Velosio is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to be an integral member of the IT Team.

 

As an IT Help Desk Technician at Velosio you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks to keep Velosio's IT system’s accurate and secure. You will provide prompt technical assistance on end user devices, corporate systems, and software applications. The IT Help Desk Technician will have the opportunity to build a foundation for their career as an IT professional and will provide firsthand experience with cutting-edge systems, hardware, and applications.

Your day might look like::
End-user device setups, configurations, monitoring, patching and remediation

Administration of Active Directory and Microsoft 365

Maintain accurate corporate asset tracking

Monitoring ticket system to provide fast and reliable service to internal users

Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and asking pertinent questions

Provide accurate instruction on IT products or services

Keep accurate documentation pertaining to resolutions and root cause analysis

Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures

Collaboration on IT projects

Other duties may be assigned as needed

What you'll bring::
Associates (2-year) degree, with a technical major, such as computer science or related degree

Microsoft associate or higher-level certifications 

Two of more years of experience supporting PC hardware, operation systems and software.

Requires sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, workflow processes, and procedures to resolve most inquiries independently

Prior help desk or system administration experience

Microsoft 365 administration experience

Upgraded/Replaced laptop components

Proficient in Windows 11 troubleshooting

Preferred:

Windows system administration (Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, OS installation/patching)

Virtualization experience (Hyper-V, VMware, Azure)

A+/Network+ Certifications

Microsoft Defender/Intune experience
