Entry Level Civil Engineer, Georgia

ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB’s Atlanta, Georgia office is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our growing Land Development design team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across diverse disciplines, giving you exposure to a wide variety of projects in size and scope. Our past and present clients include commercial, office, residential, industrial, and hospitality developers; Higher education and healthcare Institutional entities; municipal and local government agencies, State DOT’s, and private interests throughout the eastern United States.

 

Applicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

 

Responsibilities

Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects

Civil engineering for various site designs including grading and drainage design, utility design site and roadway layout

Support preparation of land development design and permitting documents

Skills and Attributes

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Project, MS Office

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Self-motivated

Attention to detail

Ability to think critically

Ability to multitask

Excels at working in a team environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum of 0-1 years of civil engineering experience, preferably related to land development

EIT Designation is a plus
