Job Details:

Job Title: Production Operator II

Location: Kennesaw GA

Pay Rate: $20/hr. on W2

Duration: 06+ months (possible extensions or conversion)

Shift: 6am-2:30pm M-T and 5am-1:30pm F. 1 mandatory weekend last Saturday of the month

 

Job Responsibilities:

Follows the schedules of each line closely on a daily basis for running orders.

Sets up lines with the required machinery, raw materials, and packing supplies.

Schedules set up to minimize downtime between order packaging.

Ensures that machine parts, raw materials, and packaging are ready at the site of the setup before the actual time of requirement.

Carries out the actual setup quickly and efficiently to minimize non-value-added time.

Meets Assembler/Fillers' ongoing requests for packaging on long runs.

Cleans parts for setup on a daily basis and places them in storage cabinets afterward for efficient retrieval along 5S lines.

Keeps the tank interior and exterior clean and presentable.

Periodically changes out the contents of the tank to maintain its effectiveness.

Drives the forklift to move, set up, and store bulk material.

Maintains and cleans the designated setup area in Maintenance.

Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times.

Performs other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

At least one year of directly applicable experience is required.

Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.

Must be able to accurately interpret and follow instructions provided by operational manuals, company procedures, and guidelines.

Must be able to accurately interpret and apply equipment settings, requiring basic knowledge of mathematics, percentages, fractions, and decimals to set equipment flow rates and volume specifications.

Must be able to use hand and power tools with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must possess the required mechanical skills and abilities to perform setup, maintenance, and parts cleaning tasks.

May be required to obtain and retain a forklift operator’s certificate.

Must be able to use and wear all required PPE equipment and clothing with or without reasonable accommodation.
