Your Responsibilities

As a

Production Supervisor

for

Augusta Commercial Products

located in

Augusta, GA , you will supervise production employees in operations to ensure that the goals of the department and organization are achieved. In addition, you will:• Supervise and lead the development and execution of departmental plans to achieve objectives in safety, quality, schedule, efficiency and continuous improvement.• Investigate, analyze and resolve various system, part, people or process issues to correct deficiencies, reduce costs, improve processes/performance. • Administer employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit. Monitors individual and line performance and takes corrective action including discipline, as needed and responds to complaints to insure the Company and employees adheres to policies, practices, procedures and work rules.• Work with Safety Team in meeting company standards and enforces safety regulations to prevent and eliminate injuries. • Manage and control costs to stay within the department operating budget targets. • Establish employee environment regarding communications, feedback and overall guidance.Ensures that assigned personnel have appropriate training, work instruction and tools to successfully do their job.• Direct departmental continuous improvement plans and activities.

What Skills You Need• 2 or more years' knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities • Knowledge of shop floor manufacturing and/or warehouse and distribution production pay systems • Understanding of employee policies, practices, procedures and work rules appropriate for the unit• 3 or more years' experience Microsoft Office suite

What Makes You Standout• Team Leadership or supervision experience • Process improvement experience and skill in measuring and achieving goals • SAP or JDAAT system knowledge

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:• Bachelor's Degree in any area of study or related experience in manufacturing, quality, or operations.
