Regional Human Resources Manager

Valex Corp is looking for a Regional Human Resources Manager to join it's upcoming operations in Round Rock and Georgetown, Texas.

You will be responsible for managing multiple human resource functions for both locations, including, but not limited to, recruiting (primary function initially), labor law compliance, leave management, employee relations/performance management, investigations, terminations, etc. You will support your local employees and management team by acting as the subject matter expert in your areas of responsibility. Once fully staffed, you will have a small number of direct reports in each facility and you will be expected to travel between the two facilities as needed (less than 1 hour by car). You will report to the local General Manager(s) you support on a day-to-day basis, in addition to the Corporate Human Resources Director.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 5-7 years' experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a multi-site manufacturing business.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Human Resources, and preferably an HR certification of some sort (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP-SHRM-SCP, etc).
• You must be a people person, computer literate, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
