About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, reliable, and curious System Des with 3–5 years of experience to join our core engineering team. You’ll help lay the foundation for a high-performance, scalable, and secure infrastructure powering millions of fans around the world.

This is a career-defining opportunity to work with a startup building cutting-edge backend systems using Rust and other modern technologies. You’ll collaborate directly with our lead engineer, frontend/mobile teams, and DevOps to design, build, and manage core infrastructure and system services.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate on backend architecture for a real-time, social-first, sports platform.

Develop and maintain core services in Rust, Elixir (Erlang VM), or similar performant languages.

Work with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and system observability.

Support infrastructure scaling, caching, and performance optimization.

Ensure security best practices are implemented at the system level.

Document system designs, APIs, and internal tooling.

Contribute to discussions on architecture, data models, and platform integration.
