Our Client, a Consumer Products and Software Services company, is looking for a HR Advisor for their Austin, TX/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries that require high touch listening skills
Conduct intake for employee relations concerns and partner with HR Business Partners to support resolution
Provide one-on-one guidance during performance review cycles and other talent initiatives for nuanced situations
Assist employees with personal or employment-related milestones and life events
Support crisis management activities by ensuring employees are aware of available resources
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and uphold HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in HR roles such as HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HR Specialist, including direct client support
Exceptional communication skills both in person and in writing, ability to listen carefully, guide and influence positive outcomes
Demonstrated experience with employee relations, manager coaching, providing HR guidance, and policy interpretation
Proficiency with HRIS and case management systems (Workday, ServiceNow preferred); all work is managed in ServiceNow
Competency in MacOS; basic understanding of data reporting and dashboards is a plus
Solid foundational knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and employee lifecycle processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization
Analytical mindset with comfort using metrics and data to inform decisions
Problem-solving ability to manage complex or sensitive issues effectively
High attention to detail and strong administrative execution
Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments
