CTG is seeking to fill a Software Developer 3 opening for our client in Austin, TX.

 

Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 2 months

 

Duties:
The Software Developer 3 will be responsible for leading the transition of the TXMAP codebase from the .NET Xamarin platform to .NET MAUI. This upgrade is critical to ensure continued functionality of the Department’s TXMAP mobile applications for both iOS and Android. The worker will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to assess existing functionality, implement changes, conduct testing, and ensure a seamless migration with minimal disruption to current operations.

 

Skills:

Strong expertise with the .NET platform

Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio

Familiarity with mobile application development for Android and iOS

Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite, especially JIRA (preferred)

Knowledge of migrating applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI (preferred)

Experience working on government or State of Texas applications (preferred)

Experience:

8 years of experience with the .NET platform

8 years of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio

1 year of experience in mobile development for Android and iOS

5 years of experience with Atlassian tools, primarily JIRA (preferred)

2 years of experience migrating mobile apps from Xamarin to .NET MAUI (preferred)

2 years of experience with State of Texas applications (preferred)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
