Role Overview
This position is focused on
CAD design work
, primarily
tube routing and drawing creation
.
The bulk of the role (nearly 100%) involves creating and refining CAD drawings in NX and Teamcenter.
There is a
large volume of CAD work
, so while some engineering skills may be used, this is not an engineering role—engineers would likely find it repetitive.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
tube routing
and create associated drawings
Update and refine existing drawings
Work closely with FF engineers for each task; update routing and make parts as needed
Create drawings and submit them through the check process
Manage multiple tasks in different review states; respond to feedback and iterate
Use
Jira
and
Confluence
for task tracking and documentation
Technical Requirements
NX and Teamcenter proficiency (3–5 years minimum)
Experience with
tube/pipe routing
or
electrical routing
(mechanical routing experience acceptable)
Ability to create fittings, assemblies, and integrated brackets
Comfortable with CAD test during interview (screenshare in NX and Teamcenter; create a fitting and drawing)
Agile and adaptable—able to pivot quickly during review cycles
Preferred Background
CAD design experience in
aerospace, automotive, oil & gas
, or similar industries
Familiarity with routing tools and processes
